I agree that £17 is a wee bit high for student grade but tbh, not too bad for 5 x 20ml tubes of paint, considering they are Schminke. Heck, I have paid more for decidedly average, tasteless pizza from a very well-known fast food joint - much of which went in the bin! I keep this in mind always. It puts things in perspective and helps me decide the value of art stuff I want. I mean, if I'm willing to spend 20 quid on risky, potentially crap take-aways then I can, without conscience, spend 20 quid on things that will make me happy, keep me sane, guarantee many hours of creativity, productivity, experimentation and fun - and possibly earn me a few quid to boot. It's a no-brainer. This thought process works every time. After years of stalling due to their high price, I even purchased my first few tubes of Golden paints! 😜

These would be lovely for a hummingbird too. Love birds somuch 💜

definitely as glow in the dark powder is a thicker powder particles otherwise there isn't enough surface to store the light if I make any sense as none fluent English speaker/writer. I think it suits more to add moonlight highlights that makes a painting visible in the day and night. to add to it, quality glow in the dark pigments is expensive, otherwise you have to add thick layers. tries once with cheap acrylic glow in the dark and had to use 20/25 layers to make it show enough at night. one coat glow in the dark you gonna pay for it for sure.

I had an aunt who took at the art academy and she always pronounced A-lizar (like lizard) - in. So a-lizar-in. You are a really talented artist. Love this video.

Isn't great when the experiments work out so well? This is lovely. Metallics can be tricky but so gorgeous as accents. The water soluble graphite is awesome! Anyway, happy to see another post from you and look forward to more!

It is something that attracts me to do but I really don’t have any experience. I do understand when you don’t feel like filming or doing voice over you don’t have to. It is good to take care of yourself. So congratulations for doing that.
